Michael Majewski is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Arizona where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Area Development and a Master of Arts degree in Economic Geography. He is also a graduate of the Economic Development Institute at Oklahoma University and has obtained his designation as a Certified Economic Developer from the International Economic Development Council.
He currently is the Principle of Spatial Economic Concepts, a consulting company specializing in research & analysis studies, as well as strategic plans for large scale real estate and economic development related projects and programs. Before starting his own company, Michael held the Director of Economic Development position for the City of North Las Vegas. His primary responsibilities included the formation and execution of a development program which enhanced North Las Vegas’ potential to attract increased employment opportunities and capital investment, and management of City operations in the development of a 16,000-acre master planned community.
Michael also held the positions of Economic Development Manager for the City of Las Vegas, Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Provo, Utah and Chief of Research for the Economic Development Council, in Springfield, Illinois. Michael is active in many professional and community based organizations.
